I think I'm in love...

I love the polka dots. I have at least 3 different dotted dresses that I need to stitch up in the near future. I saw some navy and white dotted material at the fabric store that I still have on my mind, so I think that's a sign that I need to get some. :):):)

Checked Shirtdress

I love this dress. I like the checked/gingham fabric that it is made from, and I love the matching belt. I would like to make some dresses with the matching belt. The fabric covered buckle kits are so hard to find, I'm going to have to do some web prowling to find some.

I'm a fiend for shirtdresses. I just made 2 of them and will post pics soon, I promise. ;)

Hil's Fabulous Skirt

Has it really been 2 weeks since the last post? I'm behind and have lots of stuff I need to post.
I've been working hard on cutting and basting a zillion sewing projects and will post them as soon as they are officially done. It seems like such a long time since I posted something that I have created.
I spotted this on the front page of Burdastyle this morning. I always like her creations, and thought I'd post this one.

I'm drooling over those shoes: blush pink+kitten heels. Need I say more??

Vintage dress pattern+love+Ebay

This is the other "treat" I got today. A vintage dress pattern (a project to try out on my new machine). I really like this particular designer. Very smart designs. My hair looks like the models too. :D

Iris

Yay! Finally a 'new' sewing machine. I just bought this used/refurbished on Ebay for about a third of it's sticker price.
It's a computerized Husqvarna Viking Embroidery/sewing machine (an Iris) and I'm hoping that this machine will be the prize that I've been waiting for...

You will probably see lots of my sewing projects suddenly appearing on this blog :D
