Even more Vintage Buttons...

I spotted these today and 'had to have them'. They're so cute.

Both of these sets of pretties are from www.elizabethwrenvintage.etsy.com

The button fiend strikes again...

I should be saving my $$. I love vintage buttons. I've been designing out some new clothes and have been working on getting all of the right buttons and fasteners for everything.
I love these. I really, really love the cloth covered buttons in this set. They are in excellent condition too. Ready to be made into something cool.
I got all of these sets from www.elizabethwrenvintage.etsy.com
These are lovely.
I just bought these.

I've gotten blacks and browns today. Which is good. They'll match well with a lot of different fabrics. I'm in an argument with myself when to start making fall/winter clothing (july and august are ironically the best times). I have enough fabric to make 5 or 6 very nice coats, and some of the buttons that I bought today will probably be set aside for those projects.

Polly Danger

I spotted this shop on the etsy front page, and started 'geeking' out in a very seamstress-y way.
Ack. I bought a few buttons.
The hand-made revoltingly c-u-t-e bias tape was so appealing, but I went with the buttons...
For now...
I'm a sucker for buttons. And cute packaging.
And I also fall pretty easily for little polka dots.
Good enough to eat. :)

Here are some of these adorable bias tapes. They would look great on a sundress, apron, or a tote/bag/purse.

This kit is so cute. I've been using that word to excess, however I simply cannot help that. :D
If I didn't have a veritable arsenal of sewing supplies, I think that I'd have to have one. :):):)
I love this one!
Ditto!
I like the use of scallops and stripes that I see throughout the goods.
What is it about this bag that screams--Frenchy, sea-side and summer?

I'll use the word again----cute!!!

More from Robyn Ruth...

I dropped by this shop again today, and I just fell for these buttons.
Sooo... I got them. And they will be on their way to live in my house. :):):)
I love buttons.
It seems to be button week...

Lovely! I'm not sure what I'm using them for just yet, but I will cook up a special project for them.

Very pretty color.

More Vintage buttons...

Some lovelies that I have gotten via www.elizabethwrenvintage.etsy.com ...
Happy buttons.
I seem to have this compulsive need for vintage buttons. Red buttons are in the top three.
They're like cherries. I think I will go eat some real cherries, I'm in the mood after looking at these.
Elegant silver buttons. I'm not sure exactly what I plan for them, but blazers or boleros would be good.
Pink. Tasty. I have a lot of pink clothing that I'm working on.
This is a really pretty set all around, but I really love those little pearl buttons.
I am thinking about making some white clothing. Hopefully I won't stain it to death too quickly.
It's so pretty, and so high maintentence.
Chocolate: rich, flexible, useful.
That long row of 11 buttons in the middle were what made these a neccessary addition to the collection. They're so cool.

More strawberry buttons. Happy buttons.

Robyn Ruth: Vintage Button Finds

I spotted these finds over on etsy this afternoon, and, being the vintage/button fan that I am, snapped them up right away.
I'm so crazy about her button cards!!!!
They are the icing on my button cupcake.
How great are these buttons?
These would look so cool on a dress.
Pretty. Like cherries with four holes.
These were featured in http://thegildedbee.blogspot.com/ for todays (march 9) color post

My beloved aqua-ish, tiffany blue. So pretty. I'm excited. I'm such a craft junkie.
